Our Mission
The Minnesota Sled Hockey Association, Inc. is dedicated to promote societal awareness of the challenges, and needs of persons who have physical disabilities.
The Minnesota Sled Hockey Program,a Minnesota-based 501c3 non-profit corporation, provides opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in hockey and promotes the development of excellence in hockey in Minnesota. The Minnesota Sled Hockey Program is open to players aged 5 and above with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.
• Minnesota to host 2011 Disabled Hockey Festival at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN April 1-3, 2011!!
The tournament will play host to more than 60 teams from across the country encompassing all four disciplines of disabled hockey: special, deaf/hard of hearing, standing amputee, and sled. For more information, to donate, or to volunteer please contact MN Disabled Hockey
•Richfield Ice Arena is offering open sled hockey this summer. The cost is $5 per skate and you pay at the rink. It’s a great time to get on the ice and invite a few friends and family to check out the sport of sled hockey. All players must have helmets. The dates are:
